The role
As the Insights Analyst, you will support data-informed decision making for NPR’s new audience-centric app. You will be responsible for developing and managing measurement plans, implementing and QCing tags on owned and operated platforms, and creating visualizations from complex data sets.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage measurement plans for NPR's owned and operated platforms using Google Tag Manager
- QC tags after implementation
- Independently write SQL queries to provide performance analytics
- Maintain primary relationships with stakeholders within Product to support daily analytics needs
- Partner closely with Data Products to consult on App dashboard and tool design
- Support diagnosing and resolving data issues
What it takes
- 2+ years demonstrated expertise in SQL and databases
- Experience in BigQuery and/or Dataform
- 2+ years experience making measurement plans for and QCing tags using Google Tag Manager implementation standards
- Proven expertise with GA4 or similar large, raw datasets of digital behavior
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including writing complex formulas, validating data, and automated reporting
- Understanding of the life cycle of data tracking within videos, websites, and/or apps from tagging to analysis
