The role

Manages projects involving feasibility studies, systems analysis, design, development and implementation of new, moderately complex systems, and provides specialized advice to users, analyzing users’ requirements and translating these into new applications.

What you'll do

Manages projects involving feasibility studies, systems analysis, design, development and implementation of new, moderately complex systems
Develops detailed system and other functional specifications and user documentation for major systems
Provides specialized advice to users, analyzing users’ requirements and translating these into new applications
Maintains, upgrades or enhances existing user systems; troubleshoots and provides continuing user support
Develops and maintains computer programs that require integration of many interrelated systems and program elements
Organizes and performs unit and integrated testing, designing and utilizing test bases; assists users in acceptance testing

What it takes

Advanced university degree in computer science or related field
Minimum five years of experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information systems
Experience supporting software needs of UN peacekeeping operations, special political missions, humanitarian operations, or other complex field-based international organizations
Experience managing a team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software solutions like custom ERP and custom CRM
Experience in the design and architecture of complex and scalable software solutions for more than 30,000 users across different geographical locations
Hands-on experience with C# / .Net Core, React, to build REST API services and web front ends
