The role
The Information Management Associate will support the collection, cleaning, and organization of humanitarian and preparedness datasets, produce geospatial products, and contribute to information management during emergencies in the Pacific region.
What you'll do
- Support collection, cleaning, organization and maintenance of humanitarian and preparedness datasets
- Assist in producing maps, dashboards, infographics and other visual information products
- Contribute to maintaining and improving common operational datasets
- Support remote-sensing and geospatial analysis for hazard exposure, preparedness and emergency impact assessment
- Assist with information management during emergencies
- Contribute to documentation of data sources, methodologies and information-management procedures

- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in GIS, remote sensing, data analysis, information management
- Working knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Ability to analyze and visualize spatial and non-spatial data
