The role
The Information Management Analyst will support data science, information management, and data visualization to assist in the development of policies, programs, and projects to achieve food security and reduce hunger and malnutrition in Sudan.
What you'll do
- Set up, manage, and maintain database systems for Food Security, market, livelihoods, and early warning datasets
- Compile, analyze, and interpret Food Security data from diverse sources
- Collaborate with specialists to integrate geospatial data and remote sensing analysis
- Develop and disseminate high-quality information products
- Support the MEAL unit in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards
- Provide technical guidance and support on KOBO Toolbox form development and data collection
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, statistical analysis, database administration, and information management
- Working knowledge of English and Arabic
- National of Sudan
- Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools
- Experience with mobile data collection platforms, including KOBO Toolbox
