The role
The incumbent will work in close collaboration with programme, operations and project teams to support the achievement of project objectives and organizational priorities.
What you'll do
- Develop, maintain and update information systems, databases, repositories and digital records related to programme activities.
- Collect, compile, validate and analyse qualitative and quantitative information from internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain information products, including dashboards, data visualizations, tables, charts, maps, briefs and presentations.
- Monitor data quality and consistency, identify gaps or discrepancies, and recommend adjustments to improve the reliability of programme information.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data collection, information management and reporting tools and procedures.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Administration, Geography, Economics, Urban Studies, Statistics or related fields
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in themes related to data analysis, reports and information for public policy, data visualization, data collection, processing and analysis in Brazil
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Proven experience in data analysis, reports and information for public policy
- Good command of programming languages such as R or Python
- Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS)
