- Monthly remuneration: in the first 12 months, the bonus approximate gross monthly is USD $1,500. From the second year remuneration increases based on experience and level of responsibility in the field. Private insurance coverage that includes medical coverage and hospital, temporary disability, and life insurance. The organization also has an arranged medical evacuation if necessary. The expenses of stay in the land are covered: housing, basic services, cleaning, and washing. Other expenses such as transportation, visas, transfer to the country of destination, and displacements in the field will also be covered by MSF. The role
Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to MSF protocols and values, manage teams, and ensure quality care in international humanitarian missions.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and prevent illnesses through outpatient and inpatient consultations
- Follow up on hospitalized patients and manage their discharge or transfer
- Ensure the quality and proper distribution of medical materials
- Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data
- Train the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team
- Manage the team under direct responsibility
What it takes
- General Physician Degree
- Diploma or equivalent experience in Infectious diseases
- Minimum 2 years practicing as General Physician for a hospital developing multi-purpose activities
- 2 years of treating patients with infectious disease in an inpatient facility including HIV, TB and/or DRTB
- Experience in tropical medicine, post-registration experience in public health, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, “A”, infectious diseases, HIV / AIDS / STD, TB, general medicine and / or minor surgery
- English (B2 or higher level) and Spanish (C1 or higher level)
