The role

The Industrial Park Analyst will contribute to WRI Indonesia’s research and activities on energy transition and industrial decarbonization within industrial parks. This position involves conducting research, providing technical analysis, coordinating project activities, and supporting stakeholder engagement.

What you'll do

  • Conduct research and provide technical analysis on industrial profiling, energy audits, pre-feasibility studies, and the identification of opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency in the industrial park
  • Coordinate project activities such as internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Support stakeholder engagement by maintaining strong relationships with industries, industrial parks, technology providers, financial institutions, government agencies, consortium partners, and development organizations
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, or other related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in energy, sustainability, or industrial research projects
  • Strong research skills, including literature review; collecting, cleaning, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data; and writing technical content
  • Familiarity with Indonesia’s industrial sector and national policy and regulatory landscape related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and industrial decarbonization
  • Good understanding of energy transition concepts, sustainability, and industrial park operations
  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives
