The role
The Individual Consultant will provide support to the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Team within the UNFPA Supply Chain Management Unit (SCMU), focusing on procurement and supply chain services.
What you'll do
- Administer and execute procurement and supply chain services for external partners
- Prepare correct Pro-forma Invoices in the Order Management System (OMS)
- Process purchase orders, monitor shipments, and liaise with consignees
- Ensure databases are updated and provide support to the StoreFront Third-Party Procurement project
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum of six years of experience in international procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with pharmaceutical and/or contraceptive product supply chain management is a plus
