The role

The Inclusive Education Technical Specialist position at Humanity & Inclusion (HI) in South Asia involves contributing to regional strategies, providing technical support to projects, and ensuring the quality and impact of HI's activities in the country.

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in education, inclusive education, special education, education management, or a closely related field
  • At least 5 years of technical experience in providing senior-level technical support in relevant thematic areas, preferably in a development and humanitarian context
  • Experience working with students with disabilities
  • Experience working closely in partnership with ministry counterparts, international development agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other collaborators/stakeholders
  • Experience with developing and implementing tools for screening students for visual and auditory disabilities
  • Knowledge of early-grade reading assessment and experience adapting assessments for use with students with visual or auditory disabilities
