The role

JCC Greater Boston is seeking an Inclusion Coordinator to support campers with disabilities and individualized needs at their summer camps.

What you'll do

Partner with counselors and camp leadership to build an inclusive group dynamic
Support Advocate Counselors in advocating for camper strengths, needs, and abilities
Support campers in fully engaging with bunk life and activities
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers
Communicate regularly with counselors and leadership
Model patience, empathy, and positive behavior

What it takes

High school degree preferred
1+ season of instructor experience planning and leading activities for children
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to work in a busy, dynamic, and sometimes noisy environment
Able to lift and carry objects weighing 30-40 pounds
Able to sit and kneel; getting down at eye level with children regularly
