The role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking unpaid interns to gain experience in providing nonprofit immigration legal services, including filing applications and assisting clients with specific forms and documents.

What you'll do

  • Assist with specific applications and forms under the guidance of IRC immigration staff
  • Track, file, and mail relevant documents and applications
  • Ensure translation services are provided in a language accessible to clients
  • Conduct client intake forms and develop trust with clients
  • Assist with special research or other projects
  • Other tasks and related duties as assigned
