The role

IDB is seeking an intern to work on investment risk management, including risk analysis, dashboard development, and risk reporting.

What you'll do

  • Apply quantitative tools for risk analysis
  • Develop and enhance risk dashboards
  • Support automation of risk reporting

What it takes

  • Active graduate student in Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
  • Fluency in English with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus
  • Citizenship: Be a national of an IDB member country
  • Enrolled in a graduate (master’s or Ph.D.) program as of the starting date of the internship program
  • Not have family members working at the IDB or IDB Invest
  • Be a first-time participant in an Internship Program held by the Bank or Inter-American Investment Corporation
