The role
Support in identifying and developing strategic partnerships to mobilize private capital for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the LAC region, aligned with the IDB Group priorities.
What you'll do
- Support in identifying and developing strategic partnerships
- Assist with the evaluation of existing partnerships
- Support research and tasks related to the development of new financial instruments
- Assist with the management and development of new partnerships
- Support a range of communication activities
- Other activities as agreed with the internship supervisor
What it takes
- Active graduate student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Development, Public Policy, or a related field
- Fluency in English with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus
- Citizenship: Be a national of an IDB member country
- Enrolled in an undergraduate (bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s or Ph.D.) program as of the starting date of the internship program
- Not have family members working at the IDB or IDB Invest
- Be a first-time participant in an Internship Program
