The role
IDB is seeking an intern to support Systems UX/UI Design and Communications, focusing on designing user-centered interfaces and producing design assets for web platforms.
What you'll do
- Design user-centered interfaces for SEC-developed systems and applications
- Produce UX/UI design assets including wireframes, mockups, page layouts, and visual components
- Create visual and multimedia materials to enhance system communications and onboarding experiences
- Maintain and improve existing designs by reviewing and updating interface designs and visual assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into effective design solutions
What it takes
- Active undergraduate student in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design or a related field
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is preferred
- Proficiency in graphic design software and web/UX/UI design tools
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles including usability and accessibility
- Familiarity with digital communication strategies and content presentation
- Strong communicator, self-motivated, eager to learn, and excellent time management skills
