The role

The ICLA Programme Development Manager (PDM) role involves designing, developing, and implementing ICLA projects in Nigeria while providing technical leadership to ensure high-quality programme design and implementation.

What you'll do

  • Development of ICLA strategy, technical SOPs/guidelines and Macro LFAs
  • Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, CC tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Responsible for developing and managing funding proposals, project budgets, and donor reports
  • Overall management of project staff
  • Coordinate and manage ICLA project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
  • Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills

What it takes

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from a senior-level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context
  • Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Technical protection expertise
  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Relevant completed university degree (Social Sciences, Anthropology, Geography, Law, Development Studies, etc)
