What you'll do

  • Organize and prepare studies on humanitarian and emergency relief issues
  • Participate in field missions and in-depth reviews of specific country coordination mechanisms
  • Prepare written reports, documents, and communications

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in political science, social science, international studies, public administration, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian affairs
  • Experience in a legal profession, providing legal advice on public or private legal matters
  • At least two years of international field experience in aid operations
  • Experience in humanitarian coordination and policy advice
  • Fluency in English, and French is desirable
