The role

The Humanitarian Affairs Officer / Head of Strategy and Coordination Unit is responsible for advising on policy direction, monitoring and reporting on humanitarian developments, leading complex projects, and ensuring the effective delivery of humanitarian assistance.

  • Experience working on the humanitarian programme cycle, including working on monitoring and reporting, in the field
  • Experience working on emergency response preparedness
  • Experience in a humanitarian context within the UN Common System or other comparable international organization is desirable
  • Experience in Asia and the Pacific region is desirable
