The role
The incumbent of this post reports to the Senior Human Resources Officer (International Personnel Services Section) and is responsible for performing a variety of actions related to the employment cycle in a timely and accurate manner, including preparing, following up, and distributing related employment documents, ensuring proper placement of documents in the Official Status File, and assisting in the administration of personnel entitlements.

What it takes
- A university degree from an accredited educational institution in human resources management, public or business administration, or a related field
- At least four years of progressively responsible relevant experience in personnel management, including experience in entitlements administration and servicing in a governmental, international, or large commercial organization and client services
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic
- Knowledge of UNRWA’s Staff Rules and Regulations
- Knowledge of ICSC/UN policies that govern the basis of UN salaries, allowances, and benefits
- Familiarity with the Agency’s HRM system
