What you'll do

- Supports in the compilation and submission of comments to draft Staff Regulations, Staff Rules and Administrative Instructions
- Assists with the review of allegations of misconduct
- Prepares special reports, briefing notes and talking points for senior management
- Keeps abreast of policy developments in various areas of human resources
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, education or related area
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administration or related area
- Experience in providing HR policy related advice to field operations in the UN Common System or comparable international organizations is desirable
- Experience in analyzing and drafting human resources policies is desirable
- Experience in administration of justice matters, specifically in drafting responses to management evaluation requests, is desirable
- Experience in conduct and discipline matters, specifically in drafting preliminary assessments of formal complaints of possible unsatisfactory conduct, is desirable
