The role
Lead a vibrant, community-focused Day Service hub, supporting approximately 45 people with intellectual disabilities.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to staff within the hub
- Support the development and implementation of meaningful Person-Centred Plans (PCPs)
- Help develop programmes and timetables based on individual needs, interests, and aspirations
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and active participation
- Support the effective coordination of staffing, activities, and transport
- Work with families, colleagues, and relevant stakeholders to support positive outcomes
What it takes
- Relevant Level 7 qualification, such as Social Work, Applied Social Studies, or another relevant qualification
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience within the intellectual disability sector
- Excellent computer literacy and IT skills
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence
- Previous supervisory or management experience in health and social care (desirable)
- Train-the-Trainer qualification or equivalent (desirable)
