What you'll do
- Conduct condition assessments and prepare HSRs, CLRs, and preservation treatment plans
- Develop architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for preservation, stabilization, and rehabilitation
- Ensure compliance with NHPA, NEPA, and Secretary of the Interior’s Standards
- Support COR or technical lead on design and construction projects
- Review project proposals, construction documents, and scopes of work for cultural resource impacts
- Provide technical assistance and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
What it takes
- Bachelor or master’s degree in history, historic preservation, or architecture
- 5+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with CAD software (AutoCAD)
- Experience applying Secretary of the Interior’s Standards
- Experience preparing HABS drawings
- Experience preparing HSRs
