High School Student Support Specialist
The role
The High School Student Support Specialist serves as both a case manager for special education compliance and an academic interventionist for students. This role involves facilitating IEP meetings, maintaining student records, and ensuring adherence to state and federal special education regulations. Additionally, the specialist provides targeted small-group instruction in reading and math, monitors student progress, and collaborates with families and staff to support student success. The position requires a flexible professional capable of balancing administrative compliance tasks with direct instructional responsibilities.
