The role
Belmont Charter Network is always looking to connect with educators who are passionate about helping students grow. What you'll do
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes student learning and participation
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional methods
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school administrators
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
What it takes
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- 1-2 years of classroom experience, preferably in urban education
- Valid and active Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and a variety of individualized needs
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- All employees must be able to provide Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check Clearance, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Federal Bureau of Investigation Record Check Clearance, and Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Clearance
