The role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead business development efforts in the West and Central Africa region, supporting country programs and contributing to the global business development strategy.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic vision on regional business development efforts
  • Maintain visibility on the overall pipeline across all public and institutional donors
  • Support country business development strategies and planning
  • Coordinate support to country teams in the identification, tracking, and pursuit of new business opportunities
  • Maintain regional pipeline information and analysis
  • Support donor and partner engagement
  • Collaborate with other business development colleagues and technical staff on high demand opportunities
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports
