The role

Support UNOPS Programmes in Myanmar by creating various internal and external communication materials, including reports, posters, presentations, and other visual content for both print and web. Ensure adherence to graphic guidelines and deliver innovative ideas to enhance communication strategies. This is a retainer position, requiring flexibility to respond to ad hoc requests from project teams.

What you'll do

  • Support UNOPS Programmes on a need basis and as defined in the task note.
  • Support the communications work of the fund/programmes in the Myanmar Country Office.
  • Ensure that all publications, reports, and products are produced in line with current communications practice and graphic guidelines.
  • Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web-based presentations.
  • Design and lay-out of reports and other products.
  • Develop, improve, and edit designs for maps, photos, videos, graphics, figures, and other graphic elements.

What it takes

  • Secondary school (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, fine arts, marketing and advertising, media and communications or related area with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, fine arts, marketing and advertising, media and communications or related area with 0 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent command of Adobe CC suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (e.g. Google Suite Applications)
  • Fluent in English and Burmese
