The role
The role involves providing graphic design and video development support for the World Drug Control Day campaign in Nepal. The selected volunteers will create visually engaging Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials tailored to various target groups including parents, youth, and adolescents. They will work closely with UNDP and the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure all content is culturally sensitive and aligns with UN branding guidelines.
What you'll do
- Review existing IEC content and branding guidelines to develop creative concepts
- Edit and adapt 3 short videos including text and voice-over updates
- Design 5 visually engaging IEC products (posters, banners, leaflets, social media cards)
- Ensure materials are youth-friendly, culturally sensitive, and gender-responsive
- Integrate UNDP and MOHA logos while adhering to UN branding guidelines
- Deliver final outputs in both print-ready and digital formats
What it takes
- Proven experience in graphic design or multimedia development
- Strong portfolio of IEC or public information materials
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva
- Experience working with UN agencies, INGOs, or government partners is an advantage
- Strong understanding of visual communication for awareness campaigns
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and incorporate feedback efficiently
