The role

Supports U.S. Government grant acquisition and financial management for donor-funded programs across Africa.

What you'll do

  • Develop budgets and budget justifications/narratives for U.S. Government grant acquisition efforts
  • Support financial management across the grant lifecycle
  • Prepare donor-compliant financial reports and conduct budget variance analysis
  • Monitor expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Support donor and procurement audits, including Single Audits
  • Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with donor regulations

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in grants finance, donor compliance, or financial management
  • Experience with donor-funded grants, preferably within an NGO or international development environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing budgets and budget narratives for U.S. Government grants
  • Strong working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and experience working with UN and other institutional donors
  • Experience supporting or managing Single Audits for U.S. Government-funded programs
