The role
Supports U.S. Government grant acquisition and financial management for donor-funded programs across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region.
What you'll do
- Develop budgets and budget justifications/narratives for U.S. Government grant acquisition efforts
- Support financial management across the grant lifecycle
- Prepare donor-compliant financial reports
- Monitor expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance
- Support donor and procurement audits
- Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with donor regulations
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in grants finance, donor compliance, or financial management
- Experience with donor-funded grants, preferably within an NGO or international development environment
- Demonstrated experience developing budgets and budget narratives for U.S. Government grants
- Strong working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and experience working with UN and other institutional donors
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytical skills
