The role
The Grants and Partnership Coordinator will lead and coordinate INTERSOS Afghanistan's grants management, business development, institutional fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic partnership functions.
What you'll do
- Develop and update the mission's Business Development and Fundraising Strategy
- Lead the preparation and implementation of the annual fundraising action plan
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with institutional donors
- Ensure proposals incorporate macro lessons learned and donor feedback
- Define the strategic criteria for local actor mapping
- Provide top-level oversight on partner compliance and performance
What it takes
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in program departments in the humanitarian sector
- Advanced, deep knowledge of institutional donor regulations
- Experience in building the capacity of staff in proposal development, reporting and donor compliance
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Fluency in English, Italian fluency is an asset
- Exceptional leadership, coordination, negotiation, and time management skills
