The role
International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking Government Relations & Advocacy Interns & Fellows to build relationships with policy makers, draft training content, and assist in advocacy efforts to protect vulnerable people from violence. Positions are available in various international offices.
What you'll do
- Draft training content and logistical support for NGO Trainings
- Assist in evaluation and upgrading of NGO Training content
- Develop content for Community Relations programs and campaigns
- Maintain the Community Relations documentation and track monthly targets
- Help in the planning and implementation of Advocacy team events
- Provide Administrative support to the community relations team’s activities
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience networking with International and National NGO's, CBO's, faith-based communities, and local government
