The role

The Global Portfolio Manager will support the growing portfolio of the Maternal Newborn Health and Nutrition (MNHN) portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget.

What you'll do

  • Manage projects within the MNHN portfolio
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Work with the Global Portfolio Director to put in place effective project management mechanisms
  • Support and provide capacity building to project teams
  • Represent Nutrition International at partner meetings and other forums

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, international development, or a similar field
  • 7 years’ experience managing large, complex, development programs
  • Experience working in the public health/nutrition sector in Asia and Africa
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal writing and external representation
  • Fluency in English - both reading and writing
  • Experience and comfort working within a matrixed team structure
