The role

What you'll do
- Assemble and quality-assure satellite and geospatial inputs
- Support onboarding of new cities into config-driven pipelines
- Conduct validation and reality-check work
- Support InSAR analysis for land subsidence (if background allows)
- Prepare supporting figures and maps to UN cartographic standards
What it takes
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate degree related to remote sensing, geoinformatics, geodesy, Earth observation, GIS, geography, environmental science
- Proficiency in Python for geospatial work (e.g., rasterio, geopandas)
- Working knowledge of a GIS platform and remote-sensing fundamentals
- Familiarity with an Earth-observation data platform is an asset
- Experience with InSAR processing is essential for the land-subsidence component
- Strong attention to reproducibility, data provenance, and documentation
