What you'll do

  • Conduct extensive literature reviews on GRB, fiscal devolution, and public finance.
  • Compile and analyze quantitative datasets from Union, State, and local government sources.
  • Develop qualitative research tools including interview guides and thematic coding templates.
  • Produce high-quality written research reports, policy briefs, and slide decks.
  • Collaborate with the GRB Unit to refine research questions and methodological frameworks.

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, Gender Studies, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in research, policy analysis, or development practice.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, STATA, or SPSS.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality research outputs or policy reports.
  • Strong understanding of Indian public finance, fiscal devolution, and local governance.
