The role

The G2G Co-Design Advisor Consultant Pool provides technical, policy, and strategic advisory support to U.S. Government Embassies and partner-country governments to transition health assistance programs toward direct government ownership and implementation.

What you'll do

  • Advise U.S. Government Missions and partner governments on the design and implementation of G2G health assistance programs.
  • Support the transition of health programs from traditional implementing mechanisms to G2G modalities.
  • Facilitate co-design processes involving Ministries of Health, Finance, Planning, and oversight institutions.
  • Support the development of G2G program frameworks, implementation plans, and operating procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies in low- and middle-income countries.

What it takes

  • Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Public Policy, Public Administration, International Development, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in international development, foreign assistance, health programming, or Government-to-Government initiatives.
  • Experience supporting government institutions, including Ministries of Health, Finance, or Planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in program design, policy analysis, grantmaking, implementation oversight, or G2G programming.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Government foreign assistance policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
