Bowhead is seeking a Foreign Media Analyst and Video Review Support specialist for the upcoming DTRA PAO contract in Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves monitoring and analyzing foreign and domestic media to track how U.S. policies and defense programs are portrayed, with a focus on nuclear, chemical, biological, and CBRN deterrence narratives.
What you'll do
- Monitor international and domestic television broadcasts, online video platforms, and social media channels
- Track, analyze, and evaluate how foreign and U.S. domestic entities depict U.S. policies and military operations
- Analyze, translate, and transcribe audio-visual content
- Draft and deliver comprehensive media reports
- Perform narrative and sentiment analysis
- Distribute daily Pentagon morning news clips and WMD/CBRNe news clips
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or related field
- 5-10 years experience analyzing foreign media, geopolitical narratives, or information operations
