What you'll do
- Provide examinations, diagnosis, treatment, education, counseling, and serve as a medical resource for other staff
- Perform physical exams, cancer screening tests, and diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections
- Train or precept licensed health care professionals as needed
- Maintain PPLA standards of productivity
- Recognize and treat minor deviations from the norm using PPLA MS&Gs
What it takes
- Valid California license as a CNM, NP, or PA required
- Current BLS & ACLS certification required
- National Board Certification required
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and at least 2 Saturdays per month
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate and interact well with patients, staff, and volunteers
