The role
Support financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting for the Uganda program while collaborating with the Grants Finance team on specific grants.
What you'll do
- Lead development of 5-year rolling forecasts and financial models
- Act as primary financial advisor for strategic initiatives
- Direct monthly financial reporting and Budget vs. Actual processes
- Manage grants lifecycle, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
- Develop donor budget reports and forecasts
- Prepare Uganda-specific tax returns and statutory obligations
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Over 4 years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or strategic advisory
- Full professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U)
- Experience managing multi-currency grants from major donors
- Fluency in Power BI and Google Sheets with intermediate Microsoft Excel modeling capabilities
