The role

The Finance Partnership Coordinator is a key position within the Finance Department at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), responsible for leading financial oversight and management of sub-awardees, providing strategic oversight, capacity-building efforts, and ensuring high-quality financial monitoring.

What you'll do

  • Promote Effective Partnerships: Promote and oversee the application of IRC's PEERS system.
  • Program Delivery: Lead Partner's Capacity Assessment (PCA) and manage material risks related to finance.
  • Oversee systematic partner feedback on IRC's management of partnership relationships.
  • Provide oversight for timely provision of funding to partners in accordance with agreements.
  • Review, ensure completeness, correctness, and accuracy of financial reports submitted by partners.

What it takes

  • Fluency in Ukrainian and/or Russian and English
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's Degree an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in a non-profit setting overseeing and managing partners' projects funded by major institutional donors
  • Detailed knowledge of Government procurement rules and regulations, OMB Circulars, and related administrative guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience working with partners
  • Experience in training, capacity building, and mentoring of staff
