The role

Manage and track financial execution of projects in emergency response frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements. What you'll do

  • Manage and track the financial execution of projects during emergencies, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor policies.
  • Perform budget tracking for emergency projects, identifying deviations and proposing corrective measures promptly.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners in their financial and administrative management processes.
  • Conduct and/or supervise the financial validation process and partner compliance checks, including review of supporting documents and verification of expenses.
  • Ensure financial compliance of emergency projects against organizational and donor requirements.
  • Identify financial risks and generate early alerts for potential non-compliance, budgetary deviations or irregularities.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management and/or accounting, preferably in the humanitarian sector or international cooperation
  • Experience managing donor-funded projects and budget tracking
  • Experience providing financial support to implementing partners
  • Ability to identify financial risks and propose timely solutions
  • Teamwork skills and leadership ability
