The role
The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, budgeting, and financial planning for the entire mission, program budgets, and funding in the Central African Republic (RCA).
What you'll do
- Implement and apply necessary financial procedures
- Ensure strategic vision through budget analysis and risk assessment
- Provide internal and external financial reporting
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate accounting
- Train and mentor mission financial staff
- Manage multi-funder budgets
What it takes
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles in international NGOs
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency contexts and international experience
- Experience working with humanitarian funders
- Knowledge of financial procedures, standards, and donor requirements
- Ability to manage multi-funder budgets
- High level of proficiency in Office (Word, Excel). Knowledge of SAGA, SAP or People Soft is appreciated
