The role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial management and oversight of the Caafimaad Plus Consortium and ensure effective financial coordination across all consortium partners. The position will lead the development and refinement of financial tools for budget monitoring, forecasting, financial analysis, partner financial management, and management decision-making.

Oversee sub-grant financial tracking and contribute to the development and review of sub-award agreements and amendments
Review partner budgets, payment schedules, financial reporting requirements, and financial provisions of sub-award agreements
Plan donor financial reporting and ensure timely submission and review of partner financial reports
Maintain robust financial management systems to protect consortium assets and financial interests

What it takes

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of six years of relevant experience in financial management within the humanitarian or development sector
Demonstrated experience managing the financial aspects of large, complex, multi-partner consortium awards
Strong experience in consolidated budgeting, forecasting, BFU management, donor financial reporting, partner financial monitoring, and financial analysis
Demonstrated experience in sub-award financial management, including partner budgets, advances, liquidations, reporting, monitoring, and close-out
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, advisory, and decision-support skills
