The role
Leave No Trace Ireland is hiring a Finance Manager to lead the organization's financial function and support its growth and strong financial governance.
What you'll do
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Oversee restricted, designated, and unrestricted funds
- Manage the year-end process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Maintain and develop strong financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Provide financial advice and analysis to support decision-making
What it takes
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
- At least 5 years’ post-qualification or equivalent experience in financial and management accounting
- Strong accounts preparation experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of charity accounting, including restricted fund accounting and the Charities SORP (FRS 102)
- Experience with grant-funded organizations, statutory contracts, and multiple funding streams
