The role
The Finance & Compliance Specialist role involves providing financial management, grants compliance, and sub-award oversight for the FCI country programme, supporting the Chief of Party, and strengthening the financial management and compliance capacity of local partners.
What you'll do
- Prepare and maintain country-level budgets, phased spending plans, cash forecasts, and budget-versus-actual analyses
- Review expenditures, account coding, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Support partner financial monitoring and strengthen local partners' financial management and compliance capacity
What it takes
- Master's degree in Finance, Chattered Accountant, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, grants compliance, and sub-award oversight
- Experience with U.S. Government-funded projects and donor compliance
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
