The role
FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance Associate for the integrated EpiC, HIV, and Kitumaini projects in DRC.
What you'll do
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers and partners
- Verify supplier invoices and supporting documentation before payment
- Maintain project financial records in DPA and GFAS software
- Update the filing of all project financial documents
- Participate actively in monthly account closures for FHI 360 RDC
- Scan vouchers and upload them to the country office SharePoint
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, finance or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
- Previous work experience with USAID-funded programs is a plus
- Experience managing project implementers' partners is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English and French; knowledge of local languages (Lingala or Swahili) is an advantage
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively with clients and staff
