The role
The Finance Assistant will support the daily financial operations of the Al-Hasakeh office by ensuring accurate financial processing, effective cash management, and compliance with Relief International policies and donor requirements.
What you'll do
- Ensure financial transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
- Process invoices, payment requests, expense claims, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial records and information
- Support compliance with internal controls and organizational financial procedures
- Prepare monthly accrual lists and submit them to the Finance Officer
- Manage the cash in the Al-Hasakeh office
What it takes
- At least two years of Finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or finance-related fields
- Good in English skills
- Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, internet)
