The role
The Finance Administrator will provide financial management and monitoring support for Global Environment Facility projects implemented through Implementing Partner Agreements.
What you'll do
- Review financial reports submitted by implementing partners
- Verify expenditures against approved budget lines
- Assess compliance of financial submissions
- Follow up with implementing partners to clarify financial issues
- Support preparation and coordination of project audits
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Public Financial Management or other relevant discipline
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA or equivalent)
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in financial management, accounting, project finance, grant management or audit
- Experience with international development projects funded by Global Environment Facility, Green Climate Fund, European Union, World Bank, UN agencies or other multilateral donors
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP
