The role
CBM Cameroon is seeking a consultancy firm or independent consultant to conduct the final evaluation of a BMZ-funded project aimed at improving access to health, education, and income-generating activities for refugees, IDPs, and host communities in the Far North Region of Cameroon.
What you'll do
- Conduct a final evaluation of the BMZ-funded project
- Assess the project’s relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with CBM’s and partner organization’s Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy, and data security and privacy standards
What it takes
- At least five (5) years of proven experience in conducting similar final evaluations
- Advanced university degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, International Development, or a relevant discipline
- Experience in applying the OECD-DAC evaluation criteria
- Strong expertise in mixed-methods evaluations, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Experience in evaluating multi-sectoral programs, particularly in health, education, livelihoods, humanitarian response, and disability inclusion
- Good knowledge of disability inclusion, gender equality, safeguarding, human rights-based approaches, and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
