The role
The Field Technician will assist the Stewardship Director of Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS) in field work and project administration, including invasive species control, ecological monitoring, and data management.

What it takes
- Enrollment in or completion of bachelor’s degree in ecology or related fields
- Knowledge of invasive species identification and management
- Knowledge of flora, fauna, and ecological communities of New Jersey
- Knowledge of GPS/GIS and careful data collection and management
- Valid Driver's License, Ability to operate truck and drive long distances
- Willingness to become a Certified Pesticide Operator
