The role
The Field Supervisor will support the implementation of the 'Vida Nova no Morro – Supporting Sustainable Urban Development in Informal Settlements in Niterói' project, focusing on data collection and fieldwork activities.
What you'll do
- Implement active search work plans in the field
- Provide support in entering new territories and closing ongoing research
- Oversee Field Agents and ensure proper execution of fieldwork activities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the data collection team
- Prepare and submit periodic activity reports
- Oversee fieldwork, compliance with safety protocols, and usage of electronic equipment
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Architecture, Territorial Planning, Engineering, Geography, Project Management, Statistics, or related fields
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in research, data collection and/or conducting interviews/questionnaires in Brazil
- Experience in fieldwork supervision
