The role

Assist the Head of Project in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring all cash transfer programming in all our areas of operation.

What you'll do

  • Assist the Head of Project in planning, coordination and execution of Food Security and Livelihood activities
  • Mobilize communities in activity designing, implementation and monitoring
  • Facilitate field data collection for baseline survey and evaluation, surveys and assessments
  • Report all technical and non-technical related issues in the field
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Head of Project, Logistics and Finance department, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure quality of the services and activities in the field and provide regular report to the Head of Project

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Fisheries, Agri-Business / Agro-economy, Business Management/Administration, Community Development
  • Knowledge and experience in community organizing and implementing of cash-based intervention projects
  • Knowledge of Humanitarian Accountability Partnership and Cash Learning standards
  • Familiarity with the local culture, ability to develop respect from a wide range of people and strong ability to communicate effectively
  • At least 2 – 3 years of professional experience working with I/NGOs, donor-funded programs in humanitarian operation, Emergency and Early Recovery or in development projects doing Food Security and/or livelihood Programming
  • Experience in conducting and supervising field assessments, monitoring, surveys and FGDs
